Daily Blog - 22/01/2012 - ShotS!

No this isn’t about alcohol, sorry to disappoint, but that’s a future blog :P

Tomorrow there will be more shots I’ve taken up on my sharephotography.tumblr page. I’m going to Tarra Bulga National Park with a friend of mine. Going to take out my camera and hopefully take some awesome shots above the tree tops. So that should be interesting and a good experience.

I know I haven’t posted on here in a while, but there’s just been a lot of things going on. Been trying to pay off my camera, which I finally got and I’m super happy. I’ve been having such a great time learning all of its different functions. Playing with settings, what looks good and what doesn’t.

But yeah I’ve been a bit up and down in my attitude, I’ve been happy one minute, then sad the next. I don’t know whats prompting it. I’ve just been up and down with the whole “gay” thing. I’ve been proud to be who I am, and then a little upset with it, because I can’t exactly have everything the easy way until laws change. I’d like to get married one day, but I’m always dreaming about it and never confident that it will happen. I’d love to spoil a little baby that I brought into the world, but that’s also just a dream and not confident about that. But I have so many nieces and nephews that I get to spoil and spend time with. There’s also a new one on the way soon, my sister is having another child which will be good.

Speaking of, It’s my twin niece and nephew’s birthday today, I got to help celebrate it yesterday at a nice BBQ with the family. I’ve been happy with my gift choosing, because I haven’t really done it that much before, but I’ve been choosing presents that they love, so I’m happy about that. I’m not so bad about gift giving after all. But still a Happy Birthday to them and can’t wait to celebrate many more.

My birthday is coming up too… it’s almost 2 weeks away, and yeah… I’m getting a bit awkward about it… because I’m getting older, but not really feeling that old. Only everyone else is saying that I am…

Daily Blog - 04/01/2012 - First Daily Blog of 2012

Ok so I need to start working on my titled skills lol.
Yay this is my first daily blog of the new year. Typed on my iPad so I don’t know how good this will be. And I just might give up cause I can’t type like I can on a real keyboard. I could get a Bluetooth one from apple. But I can’t be bothered giving them anymore money.
So I hope your Christmas was fantastic. I know mine was as usual. I got an iPad for Christmas. As well as lots of Doctor Who merchandise, which I just love. And a beautiful pandora bead for my bracelet.
Christmas is a big family gathering, so that night it was great to see everyone open their presents and look so happy, it was great. And a bug is on my screen, lol random. Also giving my family their presents was also nice cause I thoughtfully got them presents this year. And it was nice to see them love it.
New year eve I just wanted to stay home for Dad cause it would have been a tough one. So I drank a bottle of wine after midnight, it was nice. So nothing too big, but I want to do something next new years eve.
I’ve got ideas coming for future blogs on my main page, so they’ll be coming up soon. I know it seems pretty centrally themed. But I’m heading into other areas soon.
So this iPad keyboard is starting to annoy me now. I still haven’t gotten used to it yet. I imagine you’d need tiny fingers to use it properly.

Daily Blog - 23/12/2011 - Busy…

Hey Tumblr

Ok sorry that I’ve been away for a while, and haven’t blogged in a while on my main page, but yeah… busy.

Where do I start. For the past week and a half I’ve helped my sister move house, which has been an experience I haven’t had before. So lots of cleaning, lots of moving from one place to another. Which was good, it’s hard work but I’m glad to be a help to my sister and move her into the new house.

I’ve gone down to Melbourne last week, and I’ve put a deposit on my DSLR Camera for my birthday, and I cannot wait for that. I might even get it before my birthday. I am just really looking forward to it, I’ve wanted to do photography since year 9 and now I’m getting a great camera to finally fulfill that passion. I’ve started to research to where I’d like to photograph. I want to take trips around Victoria and take stunning landscape photos. Gonna be a great experience, can’t wait to take awesome day shots, but also those really creative night shots, that make you go “wow”. So that’s on the way for me and it’s going to be brilliant.

So… Two days before Christmas. Hope you all have got your Christmas shopping out of the way. I know I finally have, it did take me a couple of months, and I’ve been working down to the wire to get a gift for everyone, well pretty much everyone. I sort of looking forward to Christmas, but the past couple of days I’ve been a bit, sad I guess. Let me explain, for many years now I haven’t really cared that greatly about being single, this year seems to be different. I never really had that hole in my life that’s needed someone to fill it. But it’s developing. Lately I have wanted a boyfriend, and have been dreaming of having my own family, these things that aren’t really set in stone, and that no one can set in stone. No one can tell me for sure that I’m getting a boyfriend/husband and a family, and I get anxious about it at times. I would really love soon to get a boyfriend so I can share my life with him, and have another life shared with me. I’d like to introduce him to my family, and be all happy. It’s just been lately the feeling of being so singled out. I have my family which is fantastic. But there’s nothing like having a relationship with someone (as a boyfriend or husband). But I live in hope that I’ll get one eventually, so during that time I’m going to make the most out of my friends, family and life.

Next is my main blog. I know I haven’t written one in a while and I’ve been trying to think of a topic. Now I have the inspiration I’ve needed to write. The first topic is that everyone has a piece of media that makes them feel better. The second topic was inspired by my friend Ryan, who also has a blog, he did a coming out blog, how he came out and how it was for him. I thought that would be really good since everyone coming out story is different and is handled differently with the outcomes also not being identical. So stay tuned for those on my main page.

Hopefully the next daily blog will be on the 27th of December, highlighting my Christmas, the goodies I got, and gave out.

Daily Blog - 08/12/2011 - Education & Bad Drivers

Hey Guys… This is my Daily Blog now on it’s own page.

OK so last time I told you about my education and how I’m trying to apply for a course next year. Well today I got the advice to either apply for a diploma in Info Tech at the campuses or TAFE’s in Melbourne, or pick a new course. So I jumped on their website see what courses would benefit me in the future.

I decided that doing a cert IV in business would be great. Well I headed out to the campus and tried to apply for it. But guess what, because I have already got a cert IV in another area, the government wants everyone to level up to be eligible, and there’s no diploma offered for business… so that was another failed attempt.

The great ladies that were helping me tried to advise me to three diploma offered courses. So I have decided to do a diploma in Project Management. There is also another hill I have to battle and that’s the interview that I have to set up with the head of the department, before I get accepted into course. So fingers cross it all goes well. The course is going to be something new to me as well, because its a compressed course that’s part time. They have taken a two year course and compressed it down into one year, and that course material is just given to the students where they study at their own pace and hand in the assessments at the designated due dates. Also one Saturday of every month all the students meet up at the campus to do I don’t know…

So that’s all good, and I went for a bit of a drive. The people that know me well, know that I have a bit of an anger issue on the road… road rage if you will. There was just some stupid idiots out there that decide to break really hard in the middle of the road, going from 70kms to 30kms in like 2 seconds or less. That really annoys the hell out of me, I really can’t stand it. So I’m just abusing them from the seat of my car. They can’t hear me, but it makes me feel better.
